Caversham Education Institute is an accredited Service Provider offering courses and qualifications in Early Childhood Education. They offer part-time courses held in Ballito on Saturday mornings. Early Childhood Education is so important and there are so many crèches whose caregivers do not have the necessary skills and knowledge required to set up, plan for, and present the children with stimulating programs. For this reason The Christmas Fair Fund made a decision to give support to ladies wishing to upgrade their current knowledge.

 

The Christmas Fair Fund sponsored both Zanele Manyali and Yvonne Shandu in their studies, in 2015 and 2016. Zanele graduated at the end of 2016 and is now running her own playgroup in her community. Yvonne has continued with her studies in 2017 and attends lectures regularly and is a diligent student. She is working as an au pair at the moment but will be able to use the skills she is learning in her own community once she graduates in 2018. We are also assisting Florence Sangura in 2018. The Christmas Fair Fund will continue their support of worthy students.
